Donations to FRAs are always welcome.  Funds raised are used for Animal Adoptions, medical supplies, and other shelter needs.  As well as, low cost spay and neuter  and awareness programs.

Good Neighbor Program

Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) s an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) Texas organization founded in 2004.  FRAs is working to improve the communication between the City of Rowlett Animal Services and the community.  By partnering with our local animal shelter, networking with animal rescue groups, and utilizing community resources, we are able to help increase animal adoptions.

FRAs wishes to promote pet-friendly environments, services, and activities in Rowlett and  surrounding communities.

We encourage you to become an active member of Friends of Rowlett Animals, for the larger the group, the more we can accomplish!

The City of Rowlett Animal Shelter and Friends of Rowlett Animals The City of Rowlett Animal Shelter and Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) would like to invite you to make a difference in the lives of homeless pets.

In our efforts to reduce the homeless pet population, we are planning an “Empty the Shelter Day,” which will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 10am to 5pm at the Rowlett Animal Shelter  4402 Industrial St,Rowlett, TX. 75088    Phone: 972.412.6219

FRAs and Local Businesses are sponsoring pets to make all adoption fees just $50 for the day!  

Also a low cost ($20) Microchip Clinic will be offered from 2-4 pm for all area pets (until supplies run out).
